It’s a Wonderful Life live on the radio

6th Street Playhouse presents a live streaming radio play of the classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, Nov. 27-29. Actors portray numerous characters, and sound effects are done through Foley artists. George Bailey is a generous and wellmeaning man who has become too downcast and tired to continue living. A lovable angel named Clarence shows George what life would be like if he had never been born, convincing him to change his mind. Live streaming times are Nov. 27 (7 p.m.), Nov. 28 (2p.m. and 7 p.m.), and Nov. 29 (2 p.m.) The show will then be available on demand Dec. 1-Jan. 1.

It’s a Wonderful Life, the musical See It’s a Wonderful Life, adapted for the stage as a musical by Santa Rosa Junior College’s Theatre Arts Department, in virtual performances Nov. 27 and 28 and Dec. 4 and 5, at 7:30 p.m. Inspired by the 1946 Frank Capra film, this home-grown musical brings the heartwarming holiday tale to life in an online theatrical production. Despite years of hard work and selfsacrifice, George Bailey is facing financial ruin. His guardian angelin- training Clarence hears George’s bitter cry, and opens his eyes to all that would have been lost, large and small, in a world without him. Featuring an original score by Janis Dunson Wilson.
