Glen Ellen Historical Society in search of a home

Help protect and preserve Glen Ellen’s history

The Glen Ellen Historical Society is looking for a more spacious home for its ever-growing archives of photographs, posters, artifacts and more. Ideally a single room or small building that sits at ground level (no stairs please) with the following accommodations: Approx. 120-150 sq. ft. (minimum) 200 sq. ft. would be ideal.

It must have climate-controlled heating and cooling.

A single entrance would be preferred, with secure locking mechanism.

Easy accessibility on a 24/7 basis.

Basic electrical outlets and lighting.

Preferably a room with few windows, and/or the option to shutter the windows if needed.

Ideally, a location in Glen Ellen, Eldridge or Kenwood.

And last but not least, modest rent or lease options.

In lieu of rent, donation of a building site could likely be a tax deduction for the right party, as the Glen Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
