Dear Ann and Alec: In front of me lies the Christmas issue of the Kenwood Press. It is with a sense of nostalgia that I peruse the pages of your publication, as I have done for almost 20 years.

For two decades, it was my biweekly pleasure to read the paper from cover to cover, sharing in the stories that told of people and their lives from Glen Ellen to Kenwood to Oakmont.

Your commitment to and love for our communities shone through every issue, chronicling important events and highlighting issues of interest.

In a time when newspapers are under threat of consolidation or abandonment, you have kept publishing the Kenwood Press to our communal benefit.

Thank you both for your service to our readers; your labor of love will live on! Cordially, Yvonne Frauenfelder
