Crime Watch


The following are some of the recent calls from the Glen Ellen and Kenwood area responded to by the Sonoma County Sheriff ’s Sonoma Valley Substation.

Jan. 30 A caller from Creekside Court found a Jack Russell / Boston terrier mix.

Feb. 2 A manager at a business on the 8000 block of Sonoma Hwy. reported that a former employee was making verbal threats. A Deputy determined that a crime had not been committed, but recommended that the manager consider securing a restraining order against the man.

Feb. 4 A suspicious Toyota RAV 4 was parked at Sonoma Hwy. and Dunbar Road. Nothing further.

Feb. 5 A man shattered the glass door of a business on the 13000 block of Arnold Drive and appeared to be trying to rob it. He was not successful.

Feb. 7 A caller reported finding a pile of burned women’s undergarments in front of a driveway on Cavedale Rd. The caller told the Deputy that this was not the first time that this had happened and requested an investigation.
