Flatbed Farm: “Preserving the Season: Citrus and Herbs”
The next workshop in the series “A Year at Flatbed Farm” will be “Preserving the Season: Citrus and Herbs,” to be held in April. Join Flatbed Farm’s Chef Amie as she shares her tips and tricks for preserving citrus and drying herbs. Follow along as she demonstrates how easy it is to make lemon curd and enjoy a tasting of Flatbed Farm herbal teas while discussing the health benefits of each herb. Then create your own personal blend during a hands-on herbal tea blending session.
The seminar costs $105 and includes supplies, plus take-home treats: Meyer lemon curd and your personalized herbal tea blend. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided during the seminar.
The third workshop in the series will be on May 23, and will cover flower harvesting and arranging.
