Vacation rentals and winery workshops set for May 26

Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission has a big agenda for May.

Permit Sonoma will hold a public workshop to take input and recommendations to improve how vacation rentals are regulated throughout Sonoma County. The first workshop will be held at the May 26 virtual meeting of the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Permit Sonoma staff will review regulations from other jurisdictions, review Sonoma County rules, and suggest policy updates to augment or replace the county’s existing Vacation Rental Ordinance.

There will also be a presentation by the Winery Events Ad Hoc group on the process used to draft the proposed guidelines and introduce some significant changes. The commission will consider recommending approval of the guidelines.

Contact District Director Arielle Kubu-Jones for information about attending the virtual meeting and obtaining event materials. Email her at [email protected].
