Independence Day cruise

The Devils Darlin’s classic car club celebrates the Fourth of July

The Sonoma Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and the Devils Darlin’s are organizing a patriotic classic car cruise for the Fourth of July. The Devils Darlin’s is a local car club in Sonoma, founded in 1951.

Last year, the Devils Darlin’s organized an event to replace the traditional Sonoma Fourth of July extravaganza. This year, they’re at it again with another classic car cruise through the Sonoma Plaza and Glen Ellen.

Classic car (and truck) owners in the community are encouraged to join in on the cruise by showing up at the parking lot of the Sonoma Veteran’s Hall, 126 1st St. W in Sonoma, at 8:30 a.m.

The cruise will begin at 9 a.m., travel through the Plaza, then up Sonoma Highway into Glen Ellen, and finally back down Arnold Drive to Verano Avenue.

Everyone is welcome to come out to a location along the route and watch the procession of classic beauties. COVID-19 precautions are encouraged for participants and viewers.
