In the caption of Eliza Shepard and Milred Rankin, the caption, was abbreviated. The correct caption is: Eliza and her daughter-inlaw, Mildred. Mildred Rankin was the daughter of the blacksmith at Beauty Ranch and became the wife of Irving Shepard, Eliza’s son. The close relationship between Mildred and Eliza is exemplified in the image, taken beside the train tracks in Glen Ellen around 1922.
The Out and About section of the July 1 issue of the Kenwood Press incorrectly listed the dates of the 6th Street Playhouse performance of “Love, Loss and What I Wore” as Aug 12-19. The correct dates are Aug 12-29.
