North Sonoma Valley MAC meets July 21; vacancy needs filling

Update on local projects, how to get project information, and how to give input

The July meeting of the North Sonoma Valley Municipal Advisory Council will convene virtually at 5:30 p.m. on July 21. Top on the agenda is an update on Permit Sonoma projects in the north Sonoma Valley area, with emphasis on learning how to get information and provide input on projects. Scott Orr, deputy director of Permit Sonoma, will make the presentation and answer questions afterward.

There also will be a continued discussion of the council’s support for funding various areas, including emergency planning, traffic and safety, and outreach, as well as writing letters of support.

The council serves as a bridge between county government and residents and businesses of Kenwood, Glen Ellen, and Eldridge. First District Supervisor Susan Gorin attends all the council meetings and provides a personal update on what’s happening in the county. She also provides a wide-ranging overview of current and future county activities. She is available to answer general questions from the public, as well.
