Retirement suits them

For the first time in years, Ann and Alec Peters went on a vacation that was longer than two weeks. The former Kenwood Press owners spent a month in Saratoga, Wyoming, fishing, hiking, and playing some very bad golf. They arrived back home on Aug. 8. Like about everyone else they ever heard from when running the paper, they took a copy of the KP with them and forgot to get it out until two days before returning home. Here they are at a cookout on the North Platte River, and with Ann’s mom, Jean Quenon, who lives with them in Kenwood. Jean has spent every summer in Saratoga for the last 27 years, with the exception of 2020.
