Provide your input on the future of the SDC

Permit Sonoma, with consulting firm Dyatt & Bhatia, have proposed three official alternatives for redevelopment of the SDC. Each alternative includes a substantial amount of new housing and commercial space. Now it’s time for the community to learn more and provide feedback by attending upcoming meetings.

Public meetings are planned for Nov. 13 10–11:30 a.m., Nov. 16 5:30-7 p.m. (in Spanish), and Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. (a joint meeting of the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission, North Sonoma Valley Municipal Advisory Council, and Springs Municipal Advisory Council). Meeting details are available at www. sdcspecificplan.com.

If you are interested in the fate of the SDC campus and the range of impacts associated with redevelopment, now is the time to make your voice heard. The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will select a preferred alternative within the next few months.

Join the conversation by tuning into “The Fate of ” talk radio series, hosted by Pat Carlin, Fridays from 4–5 p.m. on KSVY 91.3 FM. The first show in the series is Nov. 5. On air call-in: (707) 933-9133.
