Turkey Waddle Hike on Nov. 26

Jack London State Historic Park’s Turkey Waddle Hike is the perfect antidote to a Thanksgiving food coma. This annual 4.5-mile hike leads through mixed evergreens on the way to the majestic Ancient Redwood.

“Waddlers” will gather at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, in the Ranch parking lot to the right after the entrance kiosk. The hike will end at noon.

Great for all ages, participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

The hike is free with the $10 per car parking fee. Advance reservations are required. The event will be cancelled in the event of rain.
