The annual Tailwags and Handbags Springtime luncheon benefiting Pets Lifeline is slated for April 29 in partnership with Buena Vista Winery.

Pets Lifeline is now collecting new and gently used designer purses, fine jewelry and scarves and other elegant accessories. Items for the auction can be dropped off at Pets Lifeline on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, between 2 and 5 p.m. Pets Lifeline is located at 19686 8th Street East.

“We started this event over a decade ago and I am so pleased to be able to “go live” again this year,” commented Nancy King, Pets Lifeline CEO. “We encourage all fashionistas and everyone else to bring those handbags you’ve only used once or twice that sit languishing in your closet. Wonderful items have been trickling into the collection site at Pets Lifeline this year. I can’t wait to see all the wonders as they arrive.”

The auction will open two weeks before and close during the luncheon. Everything from the auction will be on display at Buena Vista during the luncheon.

Tailwags and Handbags is one of the major fund-raising events for Sonoma Valley’s only animal shelter. Pets Lifeline is a private 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of cats and dogs in need in Sonoma Valley through sheltering and adoption, humane education and community programs.
