Sandra Fisher “Sandi” McNamara, born on Oct. 27, 1952, formerly of Mayfield, Ky. and Kenwood, Calif., sadly, passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 69. She is survived by her only remaining family: her loving son, John C. “Jake” McNamara and his wife, Kaitlyn McNamara, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and various cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. “Jack” McNamara of Kenwood, Calif.; her father, Van Dean Fisher; her mother, Jeretta Tucker Hopkins; and her brother, Bobby Dean Fisher.

Anyone who knew Sandi knew she was a very loving and giving person who always put others before herself. She loved to entertain friends and family and found joy in even the smallest things in life. She was a big fan of the blues and would regularly attend shows in Clarksdale, Miss., to enjoy the live music. Per Sandi’s request, services were not held. In lieu of services, her son wishes those who knew and loved Sandi to propose a toast in her honor and to celebrate her life.
