SIR 92 admits first women members`
At its March 8 meeting, SIR Branch 92 introduced its first women members. As one woman in attendance said, “About time.” Branch 92 is proud to show the way for all SIR branches in California. The very first woman to file her application for membership was Marianne Neufeld, pictured above receiving her membership papers with congratulations from SIR 92 director Bern Lefson. SIR 92 also welcomed new members Louise Bettner and Leila O’Callaghan at its March 8 meeting. SIR is a social club with over 100 branches in Northern and Central California.
