Glamping and camping are back at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
By Paul Goguen
Glamping tents are available for reservations at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park as of April 1. Whether you’re ready to reserve a night, or just glamping-curious, you can view all the information at the park website: sugarloafpark. org/activities/camping/.
Same-day reservations for camping sites, if available, can be made on a first-come-firstserved basis via phone call (707-833-6084) beginning at 10 a.m. As the weather continues to warm, the campground will fill up, so the park recommends making reservations in advance, especially for holiday weekends.
Day-use parking is popular on the weekends, especially between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The park encourages visitors to arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon to easily find parking.
The park website has maps and guides you can view, print, or download to your mobile device for navigation at the park, or you can ask for help at the park office.
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park offers wildflower hikes, yoga hikes, full moon hikes, events and star parties at Robert Fergus0n Observatory, and more. The full calendar of events and more information is available at sugarloafpark.org.
