Plans are underway for the return of the BIG celebration at Plaza Park in Kenwood for the 4th of July. Empire Running Club will host a 3- and 5-kilometer footrace, The Kenwood Community Church and friends will host a pancake breakfast. The Kenwood Community Club is organizing the traditional parade, and the Kenwood Rotary has plans for a big shindig after the parade.

The day of fun will wrap up early enough for everyone who still has the energy to make it to Santa Rosa or Sonoma to view the fireworks.

To register to be in the parade and for more information, visit www.kenwoodparade.org. To register for the footrace, visit www.kenwoodfootrace.com.
