SIR 92 IS BACK AT THE BERGER
By Bern Lefson
Our monthly meetings have returned to the Berger Center. May 10, at 11:30 a.m. will be our next lunch with an informative speaker, James Alexander. Alexander is one of the founders of the Courage of Hope Foundation to help improve the lives of villagers in Zimbabwe. He will share the challenges and successes he encountered in Zimbabwe. Contact [email protected] mailto:[email protected] mailto:[email protected] gmail.com for a reservation to the 11:30 a.m. event. SIR 92 meetings are the second Tuesday of every month.
The SIR 92 website is up and running. The public section will tell who we are, and what events are lined up and enable one to RSVP
and soon enable one to pay for an event or the luncheon with a credit card. We encourage our members to use the Join button as soon as possible. To reach our website go to www.sir92oakmont.org.
We are growing and invite everyone interested in meeting new and seeing old friends to consider joining our socially active club. We know as we grow older, having good friends leads to a more fulfilling and healthier life.
We also want to thank everyone who donates non-perishable food at the Food Barrels around Oakmont. Our partnership with Redwood Empire Food Bank is working well and shows that we in Oakmont are a giving and caring community.
