KFA Father’s Day breakfast

By Tony Ghisla

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Kenwood Firefighters Association will host its traditional Father’s Day pancake breakfast. The event will be at the Kenwood fire station on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, from 7 to 11 a.m.

The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children (ages 6 to 12), and under 5 free. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Tickets are available at the door.

“We are really excited to have the event,” said Doug Todd, chair of the event. “We miss not seeing the community and want to show them around the station.”

Todd went on to say that the fire engines, as well as other firefighting equipment, will be available for all to see.

The Kenwood fire station is at 9045 Sonoma Highway.
