The following are some of the reports collected from the Glen Ellen and Kenwood area by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
April 23 A female person who seemed to be intoxicated was yelling at a male person near Arnold Drive and London Ranch Road. The male person reported the incident to the sheriff and asked that a deputy tell the female to stop being a bully.
April 23 A caller reported finding a few bags near St. Jean Court that appeared to have been stolen and dumped. The caller wanted to get the bags back to the owner.
April 27 A surveillance camera at the laundromat at Arnold Drive and London Ranch Road recorded a woman stealing a laundry cart.
April 30 A political sign on Highway 12 in Kenwood was vandalized. This was the third time the sign had been vandalized.
April 30 A worker at a horseback riding concession in Jack London State Historic Park called the sheriff to report that noise from nail guns used by construction workers in the park were scaring the horses. The sheriff advised that the concession worker seek a restraining order or find a new riding route until the construction was complete.
May 1 The drivers-side window of a rental car was smashed while parked at a winery on Sonoma Highway. The person reporting the incident wasn’t sure what, if anything, had been taken.
May 1 A caller reported that within the previous two-anda- half hours, an unknown person had smashed the back window of a rental car on Sonoma Highway in Glen Ellen and stolen a make-up bag, backpack, and purse from the vehicle.
May 4 A man all in black was spotted staggering up Adobe Canyon Road. The person reporting the incident wanted someone to check on him.
May 4 A caller reported that a surveillance camera at the laundromat at Arnold Drive and London Ranch Road recorded a person stealing a laundry cart. The caller noted that this person was not the same woman who took a cart on April 27.
May 7 A property owner on London Ranch Road called to report that an unoccupied white Jeep was blocking their property. While the property owner was on the phone with the sheriff, the Jeep left.
May 9 A man with a goatee and wearing a baseball hat was spotted on a security camera livestream looking through the windows of a home on Lawndale Road. A unit responded and reported nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
May 11 A political sign on Sonoma Highway was vandalized. This was the fourth time the sign had been vandalized.
May 11 A political sign on Sonoma Highway that had been vandalized earlier in the day was vandalized again. This was the fifth time the sign had been intentionally damaged.
