Food for Thought hosts summer yoga class at Landmark Winery

Grab those yoga mats and join Food for Thought for the fourth class of a summer yoga series at the beautiful Landmark Winery in Kenwood. The class is set for Saturday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m.

Self-care is important and this yoga class will feed your spirit while also supporting a wonderful organization. Food for Thought’s mission is to foster health and healing with food and compassion. The organization supplies more than 300,000 meals per year at no charge to more than 6,000 qualified clients living with serious medical conditions or at risk of malnutrition across Sonoma County. The services help eliminate food insecurity, reduce hospital visits and medical expenses, and improve clients’ health and quality of life.

Registration for the class is $25. The class is a calming 75 minutes long. Landmark’s team will offer a 10% discount on bottles and $10 flat fee on wines by the glass for you to sip and savor after your workout. Special wine and cheese packages will be offered for pre-purchase.

Elana, the instructor and Food for Thought’s development coordinator, suggests you bring your own yoga mat, water, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. One-hundred percent of the proceeds support Food for Thought. Visit yoga to reserve your spot.
