Jack London Park Partners’ Board adds Jody Davies

Jack London Park Partners, the non-profit organization that operates Jack London State Historic Park, has welcomed Jody Davies to its Board of Directors.

Born and educated in the northeast and in Durban, South Africa, Davies obtained a BS in Environmental Science and a Master’s in Community Development. She eventually gravitated to the emerging world of information technology and later ran a successful photography business.

Davies has been a member of the park’s Trail Patrol for many years.

“I’m so drawn to this place, both the natural environment and the organization,” she said. “I am impressed with the way everyone – board members, volunteers, staff, and partners – have kept the park and Jack London Park Partners going for the past ten years.”

“Jody’s varied experiences are united by three core values: an enduring commitment to community service, an abiding passion for artistic creativity, and a deep love and concern for the natural environment. She is an excellent addition to the board,” said Jack London Park Partners Board President Peter Ferris.
