Celebration of Vietnamera veterans set

By Mia Epstein

The Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM) is proud to host a celebration of service for all military members and their families who served in any theater, worldwide, during the Vietnam War era, from 1964 to 1974.

The event is slated for Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the museum at One Air Museum Way, Santa Rosa.

Those invited include anyone who received a DD-214, recognizing that many signed up to serve in the Vietnam War but did not serve in the Vietnam theater of operations. There will be guest speakers, period aircraft on display, and refreshments. There will also be a forum for veterans to share experiences and stories.

The PCAM encourages all military members and their loved ones to be a part of this event to honor their efforts. Veteran attendance is free and the cost for additional people is the regular day fee for museum entry.
