Community Holiday Potluck set at Kenwood Depot

By Jay Gamel

It seems the weather is good enough, health-wise, to resume the annual Community Holiday Potluck at the Kenwood Depot, set this year for Saturday, Dec. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. Hosted by the Kenwood Community Club, the event is open to all, and the hope is people will provide dishes to spread the joy.

Holiday harmonies will be provided once again by the delicious Maria Carrillo Jazz Chorus, which promises a smorgasbord of delightful holiday music. Anyone who has heard these young master singers can tell you their music is a wonderful treat.

Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be on sale for reasonable prices. Ham and turkey will be on hand. Everyone is invited and asked to bring something to share. If your last name begins with: – A through F, bring salads; – G through L, bring desserts; – M through R, bring appetizers; – S through Z, bring entrées. Eat, drink, and be merry, as we celebrate the holidays and the special relationships that make a community. It all happens at the Kenwood Depot, 314 Warm Springs Rd.
