SIRs #92 to hear from Chief Deputy District Attorney

The speaker for the Tuesday, March 12, SIR Robert Ripley Branch # 92 luncheon will be Chief Deputy District Attorney Spencer Brady, Sonoma County prosecutor.

Brady has been a Chief Deputy DA since June 2005. He has prosecuted hundreds of felony cases including elder abuse, gangs and domestic violence. He currently supervises the Elder Protection Unit, Gang Unit and Juvenile Justice Unit. He provides outreach to the community with presentations to elder groups on prevention and on prosecution of cases. Topics range from elder abuse to gang prevention and school safety.

At the luncheon, Brady will discuss the topic of senior fraud and senior identity theft on prosecuted felony cases in Sonoma County.

SIR Branch #92 meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Oakmont Berger Center, 6637 Oakmont Drive. Social hour starts at 11 a.m., with lunch at noon catered by Caf Europe. Any Oakmont men interested in attending this presentation and/or membership should contact George Keller at 539-7618.
