Horton featured artist at Glen Ellen gallery

The ARThouse Gallery in Glen Ellen will be featuring Glen Ellen artist Archie Horton from May 18 through June 23.

All are invited to the artist’s reception on Saturday, May 18, 1 to 5 p.m. Wine, sparkling cider and finger foods will be available.

The exhibit’s theme is “Bits & Pieces of Glen Ellen History,” featuring art of the old buildings of Glen Ellen. The original ink drawings, first done for author Bob Glotzbach’s booklet, A Self-Guided Walking Tour of Glen Ellen, have long faded, so the copies on exhibit are affordable and help to preserve the history of Glen Ellen.

While Horton’s work will be sure to pique your interest, there is also outstanding artwork and photographs at the gallery from over 20 other artists.

The ARThouse Galley is located at 13758 Arnold Dr., next to The Chauvet. The ARThouse Gallery can be reached at 933-9883, or go to
