Funky Fridays returns to Sugarloaf

Funky Fridays is a weekly summer concert series at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park’s amphitheater. Bring your family and friends each Friday evening to enjoy listening (and dancing) to the music of Sonoma County’s top bands, with the gorgeous backdrop of Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. This year, Funky Fridays will run June 6 through Aug. 29.

The live music is held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in an outdoor amphitheater next to Sonoma Creek, surrounded by a grove of oaks and evergreen trees.

The season kicks off with blues band Volker Strifler on June 6. This California-based international artist stretches the blues envelope to all points of the compass.

If you like live music and the great outdoors, this is a must for you and the whole family. Plus, these fundraising concerts help Team Sugarloaf keep Sugarloaf State Park beautiful and open to the public. Kids (18 and under) are free and adults are $10. Please visit funkyfridays.info for detailed information and to purchase tickets in advance.
