Free admission to Kenwood and Oakmont residents


Sugarloaf State Park

The week of May 13-17, the park is offering free admission for everyone living in Oakmont or Kenwood. Most of Sugarloaf’s volunteers come from the local area and Team Sugarloaf wants to say “thank you.”

If you are an Oakmont resident, your Oakmont pass is all you need for entry (or just leave on your dash). Kenwood residents, bring an ID or something to show you live in Kenwood (mail or driver’s license with the address).

Sugarloaf opened its gates to the public on Memorial Day weekend in 1969. This month, in addition to its regular hikes and outings, which can be found on www.sugarloafpark.org/events, Team Sugarloaf has a lineup of special 50th anniversary events.
