Oakmont Sunday Symposium

Sunday May 5th 2019 - 10:30am to

Oakmont’s Sunday Symposium will venture into the hot topic of artificial intelligence on May 5, with a discussion led by Dr. George McKinney, “Artificial Intelligence and You.”

Companies are pouring billions into artificial intelligence whose advancements have amazed even scientists working in the field. Within the next few years, AI will help enable us to age in place more gracefully with the ability to continue to do more of the things we love. McKinney will tell the audience how AI will become a part of our lives within our lifetime.

McKinney has been an Oakmont resident for 16 years and has been active in a wide variety of Oakmont activities from the Long Range Planning Committee to the Genealogy Club. He is the vice president of the Sunday Symposium Board, and this will be his fifth talk to the group.

The Oakmont Sunday Symposium meets on Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Berger Center. A $3 donation is requested. All Oakmont residents and their guests are welcome. For more information, go to oakmontsundaysymposium.org.

There is no symposium on May 12 (Mother’s Day).
