Get ready for Community Potluck
Everyone is invited to the Kenwood Depot at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, for the annual Community Potluck social, kicking off the holiday season with food, beverages and neighborly cheer. One of the Depot’s missions is to be a social hub for Kenwood, Glen Ellen and the North Sonoma Valley, and we hope that everyone who lives here knows it’s here to be enjoyed.
The hours are 4-8 p.m., and not as reported in the last issue.
The Depot is owned and operated by the Kenwood Community Club, whose directors meet monthly to care for the property and manage the events and gatherings that happen there.
Ham and turkey will be provided by KCC Board members and there will be a no-host bar with wine and beer, along with water and soda, all the ingredients needed for a first-rate holiday gathering to meet new friends and talk to old ones.
Everyone else is invited to bring side dishes, desserts, and appetizers – your own creation or off-the-shelf – according to the following suggestions. If your last name begins with:
- A-F bring appetizers
- G-L bring desserts
- M-R bring entrees
- S-Z bring salads
The KCC Board of Directors consists of Jay Gamel, Nazar Eljumaily, Liz Parsons, Nigel Hall and Denise Benguerel. We hope to see you at the party and wish you a grand holiday season to celebrate the yearly transition to winter and renewal of hope that follows.
We welcome your presence and support for this Kenwood legacy. Please consider a donation or membership. You can accomplish either by going to www.kenwooddepot.com.
