Rash of vehicle break-ins

Vehicles were broken into on the evening of Wednesday, May 8, in Kenwood and Glen Ellen.

On Los Guilicos Avenue, a truck was broken into with a burglary tool between 10 p.m., and 3 a.m., and ransacked. There was nothing of great value in the truck, though some sunglasses and one golf shoe were missing.

Down the street, another locked vehicle was broken into in similar fashion. The door was left open, as was the garage door, apparently opened with a remote that was in the vehicle. It is not known if anything was taken.

Also on Wednesday night, a truck was broken into on Dunbar Road.

Report suspicious vehicles or individuals in your neighborhood at night – they may be attempting to break into your car or truck.
