Elder Protection Summit in Oakmont
On June 30, the Oakmont Community Church is sponsoring a workshop discussing ways to avoid scams, identity thefts and other similar topics. It will be held at the Berger Center in Oakmont. The Summit State Bank will provide the lunch. Seating will be limited, so get your reservation in early.
This summit is presented by Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua, Sonoma County Law Enforcement Chiefs’ Association, Santa Rosa Police Department, Senior Advocacy Services, Council on Aging, Elder Financial Protection Network, Commission on Human Rights and the Human Services Department.
Check-in and registration begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Berger Center with the workshop and panel discussions running from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a luncheon and keynote address.
