Rembrandt etchings in Sonoma Museum
Sordid and Sacred: The Beggars in Rembrandt’s Etchings were selected from the John Villarino Collection. They were executed between 1629 and 1654, and are well known for their richness and beauty. Rembrandt is widely viewed as the greatest practitioner of the etching technique in the history of art. The exhibition can be seen Wed.-Sun. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults $5, families $8. Sundays are free. Just off Sonoma Plaza at 551 Broadway. The collection is on display through June7.
