Broadway Under The Stars fundraiser for JLSP
Broadway performers from hit shows such as 42nd Street, Mary Poppins, and Hairspray will present a concert of hope and inspiration to benefit Jack London State Historic Park on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Kohler and Frohling winery ruins located in Jack London State Park.
The concert is being produced by Transcendence Theatre Company, a group of artists with Broadway, national and international tour experience, and film and television credits.
Scheduled to perform are Stephan Stubbins (Mary Poppins), Amy Miller and Melissa Giattino (42nd Street), Brooke Tansley (Beauty & The Beast), Eric Jackson (Young Frankenstein), Jared Bradshaw (Jersey Boys), and more.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Valley of the Moon Natural History Association, a non-profit volunteer organization that supports Jack London, Sugarloaf Ridge and Annadel state parks.
The evening’s festivities begin at 5 p.m. when park supporters are invited to enjoy the beauty of Jack London State Park with pre-show picnicking at The Beauty Ranch. Guests can bring a dinner or pre-order French cuisine from Chloe’s French Cafe. Signature wines from local wineries will be available for purchase. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the winery ruins where supporters will experience the magic of musical theatre under the stars.
Tickets for the concert are $25-$40. For $100, Park Advocate VIPs enjoy reserved seating and other perks. Tickets can be purchased online at www.broadwayjacklondon.com or by calling 877-424-1414.
