Valley End Farm expands with north valley routes
Valley End Farm has plans to expand its delivery routes into Kenwood, Oakmont, and Glen Ellen. Since 1996 Valley End Farm has delivered local and organic produce to consumers' homes and businesses in Sonoma County. Sharon Grossi and her son Clint run a 70-acre organic farm on Petaluma Hill Road. Each week the farm delivers seasonal fruit and vegetable boxes to consumers, with several recipes included. All produce is 100 percent certified organic.
“Valley End Farm is delighted to give residents a healthy choice for eating great tasting and fresh organic fruits and vegetables, right over the hill in Santa Rosa,” said Sharon Grossi.
Grossi also said that buying locally is healthy and contributes investment back into the community. Purchasing fruits and vegetables in season from a local source saves money, not to mention the produce tastes fresher and lasts longer. Valley End Farm is a part of the Community Supported Agriculture Program (CSA).
You can sign up for Valley End Farm's delivery service by going to www.valleyendfarm.com, where you will find various box sizes and options.
