Brunch on Bald Mountain for hikers, non-hikers

Join “Bill and Dave Hikes” for a “Brunch on Bald Mountain” benefit on Saturday, Jan. 26, to support Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. All proceeds support Team Sugarloaf’s operation and maintenance of the park. This event is organized by the Sonoma Ecology Center and Bill & Dave Hikes.

Bill and Dave will lead the strenuous hike to the top of Bald Mountain along Meadow and Gray Pine trails on the way up and Bald Mountain trail on the way down. But if you’re not up for the climb, Team Sugarloaf partners will chauffeur you to the top. This is a rare opportunity for non-hikers to visit the mountaintop, since driving to this destination has never been an option until now.

Whether you choose to hike or ride, upon arrival at the top you will be treated to a hearty picnic brunch and 360-degree views of the Sonoma and Napa valleys and mountains beyond.

This event is by reservation only. Tickets are $25 per person for adults and $10 for children ages 10-17. Rides to the top are an additional $10 per person. This hike is not recommended for young children. Children nine and under, accompanied by a paid adult, are welcome to participate but are required to ride. Limited spaces will fill up fast. To reserve your spot go to www.BrownPaperTickets.com/event/306629.

Rain date will be Saturday, Feb. 2. For more information, go to www.billanddavehikes.com.
