On Feb. 13, The Kenwood Education Foundation (KEF) honored this year’s Big Hearts, from left: Maurice Tegelaar, Karen Borgfeldt, and Scott Harris. Tegelaar, of Pacific Union International, is a past member of KEF and active supporter of the educational programs at Kenwood School. Borgfeldt is the owner of Hello Beautiful Skin Clinic, the mother of two daughters at Kenwood School, and a prior member, president and supporter of KEF. Harris is a member of the Oakmont Kiwanis Club, and has served for the past three years as chairman of the Wii Bowl-A-Thon, which is held at Kenwood School and sponsored by the Oakmont Wii Bowling League and Oakmont Kiwanis Club. Over that time the Bowl-A-Thon has raised $30,000, with $15,000 donated to the KEF for the benefit of Kenwood School children. The luncheon was held at the Quail Inn restaurant in Oakmont.
