Glen Ellen history on DVD

DVDs of the Glen Ellen Historical Society’s popular Mayflower Hall presentations are now available for purchase. The lectures address the history of the Sonoma Valley from the Miwok and Pomo people to early Spanish settlers and through Jack London’s life.

“An Afternoon with Greg Sarris,” a discussion of Native Americans in Sonoma County, “The Californios of Sonoma Valley,” and “Our Great Big Picture Show” are $15 apiece.

“Who Knows Jack?” and “Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch…” are $25 each. These double DVD features include a panel discussion on the famous author, a conversation with his descendants, and an analysis of his vision for sustainable farming on the land that is now Jack London State Historic Park.

Payments can be made to the Glen Ellen Historical Society, P.O. Box 35, Glen Ellen, CA, 95442. Include your selections, mail and email addresses, and phone number. Learn more about the DVDs at www.glenellenhistoricalsociety.org.
