End of an era...

Part of the old walnut orchard at Sonoma Hwy. and Frey Road in Kenwood is being cleared to make room for a new vineyard. Steve Ledson has also submitted plans for a new winery at that location. Ledson bought much of the 25-plus acres of walnut groves back in 2009, after the deaths of his relatives, Cliff and Adeline Rich. The namesake for the proposed winery, William Cunningham, was Ledson’s great grandfather, who originally bought the ranch in 1919.
