Support artists in Kenwood classrooms

Last summer, Kenwood-based artist Fred Parker began working on an idea to bring professional artists into Kenwood School classrooms. With the blessing of the school and the Kenwood Education Foundation, he obtained the necessary donations for the program, hired and paid the artists, and throughout the year worked with the school, scheduling artist encounters for several classrooms of appreciative students.

Over the July 27 and 28 weekend, Parker will open his studio/gallery for a special sale with 30 percent of all gallery purchases donated to support next year’s program. The public is invited to visit Parker Fine Art Gallery located behind the Vineyards Inn at the corner of Adobe Canyon Road and Hwy. 12 in Kenwood. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

For additional information contact Fred at 833-2602 or fred@parkerfineart.com.
