New president for Glen Ellen-Kenwood Rotary

Effective July 1, Constance Sharpe, a realtor with Frank Howard Allen, will become the second president of the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood. She follows past-president Gail Johnson.

The Rotary motto is “Service above Self,” and Rotary is non-denominational, non-political and open to women and men who want to change the world through peace and understanding. The club meets at the Grist Mill Restaurant in Jack London Village, 14301 Arnold Drive, Glen Ellen. There are currently 25 women and men in the club working on community projects in Glen Ellen and Kenwood.

Meetings are every Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m. for fellowship and appetizers, followed by a meeting and a speaker from 6 to 7 p.m. There is a cash bar as well. Guests are welcome and your first meeting is free. Come learn about Rotary, its service opportunities and goals, and the benefits of membership. This is an opportunity to meet other business and professional persons in the community and make a difference to humanity.
