Sponsors needed for Camp ReCreation

Star of the Valley Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a fundraiser on July 18 to benefit Camp ReCreation, a program that gives developmentally disabled persons of all ages and faiths the opportunity to experience summer camp in the Sierras. For many at the Sonoma Development Center, this is the high point of their year. Unfortunately, the costs for this program have never been higher, and the generosity of local residents is needed to keep the dream alive for those less fortunate. A $600 donation will help cover the costs for one camper. For $100 we will craft a custom tee sign for you or your business to be displayed during the fundraiser’s golf tournament on the Oakmont East Course.

Do you have some time at a vacation rental that you can donate for the auctions? A wine package or food pairing? A professional service you can offer? Your tax-deductible donation will be recognized at our fundraiser dinner, along with a personal thank you from the co-founder of Camp ReCreation. To make a donation, or for more information, please contact John Barrett at 537-6551 or Mike O’Callaghan at 538-8145.
