Wine History Tour at Jack London
Another Wine History Tour, offered only two or three times annually during the summer and fall months at Jack London State Park, will take place on Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. The comprehensive tour begins at the stone building adjacent to Jack Londonís cottage, followed by tours of all the winery buildings, the cottage and dining room, and will conclude with lunch and a wine tasting of Kenwood wines, which are produced from grapes raised on the ranch, and a surprise special wine. Cost is $50 per person. With a maximum of five people only for this tour, reservations are required and space is likely to fill up quickly. Subsequent Wine History Tours will be available by appointment only. Check the Park website at www.jacklondonpark.com for dates.
