Annual Mandala Bazaar at Zen Center
Come support the Santa Rosa Zen Center as it hosts its fourth annual Mandala Bazaar on the Mountain on Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a benefit for the centerís regular operating fund.
As always, the bazaar will feature the work of numerous local artists and craftspeople. Woodwork, weavings, bamboo art, jewelry, and teas make up only a small portion of the diverse group of treasures that will be available for you to take home. The bazaar will also offer a wide variety of performance artists demonstrating their talents throughout the day, including flute playing, martial arts, archery, and more.
In addition to the art offered, there will be a raffle featuring framed calligraphy by the Zen Centerís Abbot, Jakusho Kwong-roshi. Other raffle prizes include a Japanese dinner for two at Yoshiís, and an overnight for two at the Maison Fleurie Bed and Breakfast. Raffle tickets can be purchased from Zen Center members, by calling 545-8105, or online at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information about the bazaar can be found at smzc.net.
