Dental implants topic at SIR Branch #53
The speaker for the SIR Branch #53 Aug. 28 luncheon will be John M. Savko, DDS, who will discuss the significant changes in the field of dentistry brought about by dental implants. This technology has become the standard of care for tooth replacement as well as for denture stabilization. Dr. Savko will outline the history of implants as well as techniques and expectations of implant placement and the overall restoration of missing teeth.
Dr. Savko also practices Sleep Dentistry for patients who have dental fears, phobias, or those who want to shorten their visits to the dentist. He is passionate about improving the quality of care for disadvantaged children, particularly special needs patients in Sonoma County.
In his spare time, he enjoys road cycling throughout Sonoma and Marin counties, and spending quality time with his wife, Nicole Le (who is also a dentist) their son and baby daughter.
