Kenwood School Spaghetti Feed
On Sunday, Sept. 8, Kenwood School will be holding its annual Sixth Grade Spaghetti Feed to raise money for Kenwood School’s Outdoor Education Program, which sends the entire class to the Marin Headlands for a week in October to experience the award-winning Nature Bridge Outdoor Education Program.
The Spaghetti Feed, at The Maple Ring in Kenwood, is in large part how the students get there, and they work as servers for the event to “earn” their way. It’s always a fantastic, family friendly event with a dessert auction, a raffle, activities for the kids and plenty of great company. And the food is really good, too! But, without a doubt, the one thing that makes this event such a success every year is the attendance and participation of the community at large.
It’s great fun, in a beautiful location, with delicious food and outstanding local wines and beer, and helps to send a sixth grader to Marin. Tickets are available at the Kenwood Press, at Kenwood School, or from any Kenwood sixth grade student. Prices are $15 for adults ($20 at the door); $7 for children under 12 ($10 at door).
The Kenwood School Spaghetti Feed takes place on Sunday (9/8), 3-6 p.m. (dinner served 3:30-5 p.m.), at Geib Ranch’s Maple Ring in Kenwood. Information: Kenwood School, 833-2500.
