Linden String Quartet at Oakmont

Music at Oakmont will present the Linden String Quartet in a program of works by Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and the young Canadian composer Vivian Fung. The concert will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14, 1:30 p.m., at Berger Center.

Founded in 2008 at the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Linden Quartet has been described as “polished, radiant, and incisive” by Strad magazine. The ensemble has won numerous chamber music awards, including the Concert Artists Guild, Fischoff, Coleman, and Borciani Competitions. Recently the group completed the two-year Graduate String-Quartet-in-Residence program at Yale University School of Music.
