Sonoma Valley Community Health Center breaks ground
Congressman Mike Thompson (center) and Supervisor Susan Gorin (in yellow), attended the ground-breaking ceremony on Jan. 31 for the new Sonoma Valley Community Health Center. The new, permanent facility under construction on Napa St. in Sonoma will include a family practice clinic, obstetrics services, integrated behavioral health services, a dental clinic, health navigator center and a community education center. The Center is the largest provider of primary medical services to Medi-Cal, low income, and uninsured patients in Sonoma Valley. Annually, the health center serves more than 7,000 patients, resulting in more than 30,000 patient visits.
