Springs housing development on tap at SVCAC

At its meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 26, the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission (SVCAC) will review a proposal for a large mixed-use project at 17360 and 17366 Sonoma Hwy. in Fetters Hot Springs.

Proposed for the location is a 60-unit affordable housing complex, a 40-unit affordable senior housing complex, a 6,500 square foot commercial component, a community garden, multi-use school playground, and public bikeway/trail improvements. The site is made up of three adjoining parcels consisting a total of 6.76 acres located on the west side of Sonoma Hwy. between Valetti Drive and Depot Lane in Fetters Hot Springs.

The SVCAC reviews development proposals and other related issues in Sonoma Valley and makes recommendations to the appropriate decision-making bodies at the county level as well as at the City of Sonoma.
