Plowing Playday at Jack London



The North Coast Draft Horse and Mule Associationís 31st Annual Plowing Playday will be May 18 at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features Clydesdales, Belgians, Percherons, Shires, and mules. Get up close and personal with these gentle giants and watch demonstrations of plowing, harnessing, blacksmithing, and sheep shearing. You can also enjoy medieval horseback skill-at-arms, vehicles from the Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association, free wagon rides, music and a BBQ.
